Telbum vs FODEXAZY Spec Comparison
System Type
Telbum provides a complete gig bar system with four individually adjustable heads: a jelly moon light, an LED Par, a starry light, and a derby light. This setup creates focused beams and varied textures on stage or in a room. FODEXAZY offers a single, continuous LED wall washer bar. It relies on 336 LEDs to wash large surfaces with color rather than projecting distinct patterns. If you need directional lighting for a DJ booth or dance floor, the Telbum multi-head design offers more versatility. If you want to color a backdrop or wall evenly, the FODEXAZY bar covers a wider area with a single unit.
Connectivity
Both units support DMX and sound-activated control for automated shows. Telbum includes an IR remote for local adjustments and supports master-slave linking with other devices. It also offers 16 DMX channels for detailed programming. FODEXAZY features a 3-pin DMX port designed for daisy-chaining multiple bars. This allows you to link several units to cover larger venues like churches or theaters. While Telbum gives you remote control convenience, FODEXAZY offers easier scalability for large-scale installations where multiple bars work together. Choose Telbum for solo control and FODEXAZY for linked arrays.
Included Accessories
Telbum ships with a robust tripod stand and a heavy-duty road bag for transport. This makes it an all-in-one solution that is ready to set up immediately. You do not need to buy separate mounting hardware. FODEXAZY does not list a stand or carrying case in its specifications. It relies on its lightweight aluminum alloy shell for durability and easy installation, but you must provide your own mounting solution. If you want a package that includes everything needed for immediate use, the Telbum system is the practical choice. FODEXAZY requires additional purchases for support.
Dimensions
The Telbum system measures 32.7 inches in length, 15.7 inches in width, and 7.87 inches in height. It weighs 18.3 pounds, including the stand and bag. This compact footprint fits well in small venues, bars, or pubs. FODEXAZY is significantly longer at 160 inches, with a width of 20 inches and a height of 16 inches. This long bar is designed for wide coverage rather than portability. The Telbum unit is easier to transport and store. The FODEXAZY bar requires more space and is better suited for fixed or semi-permanent installations where length is necessary.
Lighting Effects
Telbum offers specific lighting effects including static color, color mixing, jump mode, strobe, fade, and auto play. The four different heads allow for complex, layered lighting designs. You can mix beams and textures for dynamic shows. FODEXAZY focuses on RGB color washing with 336 LEDs. It provides self-propelled patterns and sound-reactive color changes. While it covers a large area with vibrant color, it lacks the distinct beam shapes of the Telbum heads. For varied visual interest, Telbum wins. For simple, broad color washes, FODEXAZY is sufficient.
Telbum vs FODEXAZY: Choose Your Setup
Mobile DJs needing a complete kit
The Telbum PL-31U includes a heavy-duty stand, road bag, and IR remote, making it a true all-in-one package. You get four distinct light types—Par, jelly moon, starry, and derby—mounted on a T-bar. Venues needing wide wall coverage
The FODEXAZY ZQ06018 is a 160-inch long LED wall washer designed to bathe large surfaces in color. With 336 LEDs, it provides intense, even wash lighting ideal for backdrops or exterior walls. Its linear shape covers width rather than height. You can daisy-chain multiple units via 3-pin DMX ports to extend coverage across larger stages or dance floors effectively.
Users prioritizing portability and weight
Telbum weighs 18.3 pounds and fits into a carry bag, making it manageable for single-person transport. The compact gig bar design consolidates four lighting functions into one unit. In contrast, the FODEXAZY bar is 160 inches long, requiring significant space for storage and transport. If you move gear frequently, the Telbum system offers a more streamlined and less cumbersome solution for your vehicle.
